March 17: California Child Support Services is now temporarily stopping the automatic placement of bank liens and suspension of drivers’ licenses, effective on March 17, 2020. Please note there may be instances where actions were already in the process and you will need to contact the agency handling your case. Check childsupport.ca.gov for daily updates. // Los Servicios de Child Support de California actualmente están suspendiendo temporalmente la retención automática de gravámenes bancarios y suspensión de licencias de conducir vigentes a partir del 17 de marzo de 2020. Tenga en cuenta que puede haber casos en los que las acciones de retención ya se encontraban en proceso, sin embargo, en caso de encontrarse usted en esta situación deberá comunicarse con la agencia que conoce de su asunto. March 16: Santa Clara Superior Court Suspends All Non-Essential Functions for Duration of “Shelter in Place” Order.

DMV Grace Period: If your driver license or vehicle registration is expiring soon, and you don't want to risk coronavirus exposure or transmission, the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is offering announced a 60-day extension for renewals of driver licenses and vehicle registrations with expiration dates beginning March 16, 2020.
